IRON BEAR PROJECTS
Iron Bear is a New Jersey based construction company that works on both residential and commercial projects. They were a brand new company and needed a visual identity. The plan was to launch with a logo, brand guide, website, and some collateral such as business cards and lawn signs. The client provided “Iron Bear” as a name, so we agreed it made sense to start by designing a bear icon, and try to bring some kind of iron texture in as well.
We ended up creating this kind of iron mesh texture that would nest inside of the bear icon, creating a dimensional, tactile effect. We also created a custom wordmark inspired by ironworks facilities and old school signage.
The final logo suite resulted in a pretty extensive collection of marks, which keeps things fresh, and creates a really flexible, easily applied identity.
