“RM” WEDDING DESIGN
The clients on this one were getting married on New Year’s Eve, and wanted to create a wedding invitation that matched their black and gold, black tie, “Great Gatsby” event aesthetic. They were looking to create a custom monogram and imagined using gold foil to try and make these feel as unique and high-end as possible.
Since the monogram would be at the center of the invitation and collateral, we started with some hand lettering. The client was provided with three initial monogram sketches to choose from. Their selection would then be developed into a digital version.
Once we finalized the monogram, we used it as a center piece for the invitation and designed the other elements around it. We even used the monogram to create gold wax sticker seals for the envelopes which ended up also being used in other places in the physical event space.
